XBM on NEPA2 Framework

XBM Limited is now an Epson Nominated Reseller on the NEPA2 Framework

As one of the UK’s fastest growing independent suppliers of managed print, with over 30 years of experience, XBM Limited is now able to expand its support for the UK Education sector as an Epson Nominated Reseller on the National Education Print Agreement (NEPA2) Framework. Collaborative purchasing enables UK Universities to reduce their procurement costs significantly.

The agreement provides a compliant framework for XBM to provide print equipment and management solutions, primarily to Universities and higher educational institutions, but also to publicly funded primary and secondary schools, further education, and the wider public sector.

he NEPA2 framework covers office document print hardware, A4 and A3 multi-functional devices, print production hardware, large format printers and plotters, print management solutions and services (including Industry Print software solution if required) and additional peripheral hardware to enable fulfilment of managed print services i.e., user authentication hardware and money loaders.

In announcing the NEPA2 Nomination, XBM Managing Director, Richard Taylor, said that, “This is great news as it enables our continued growth, recognising that XBM has the expertise and capabilities necessary to support public sector bodies. Our partnership with Epson, as one of only two Platinum Partners in the UK, provides the public sector with a genuinely more sustainable print option.”

Dominic Kennedy, Public Sector Account Manager for Epson UK, comments: “Epson’s inclusion in the NEPA 2 Framework demonstrates just how important sustainability is becoming in the procurement criteria for the Higher Education sector. We are privileged to be on this framework and to be delivering cutting-edge solutions with all the qualities of local service thanks to our resellers such as XBM Limited”

XBM is one of only two Epson Platinum Partners in the UK, a prestigious status awarded by Epson based on a comprehensive set of criteria including our product focus, expertise, sales, and the high level of support we provide for our customers.

Our partnership with Epson focuses on our mutual goals, including the provision of more sustainable print options and management solutions. Epson’s Heat-Free print technology can reduce energy consumption and costs by up to 83% and consumables waste by up to 96%, making Epson the Green Choice.

Additionally, XBM plants trees for every Epson solution installed to ensure that devices are not only designed, produced, and operated sustainably, but also delivered and installed sustainably too. This commitment is further extended by the free recycling of all Epson ink packs and cartridges.

Already providing print and AV solutions to educational establishments across the UK, XBM is able to provide sustainability and optimisation reports, comparing current print and copier fleets, right down to individual device usage and volumes, to the optimal solution, identifying reductions in carbon footprint, energy consumption, costs, and waste, and fleet management options, including EPA, MyQ, and Papercut. Optimisation and carbon reduction can be further enhance by digital document management solutions such as Docuware or Square 9.
